My introduction to this client was with a brief to support him and his team in marketing a new innovative software product for the global travel industry. Being involved with many clients in this area I felt that the market had changed since beginning their product incubation and development process two years earlier. Sometimes, having so much emotional energy invested in development to date, it can be a hard pill to swallow to change direction. The client, recognised the change necessary, and together we won the team over. My role included strategy, branding and marketing. Six months later this product won the ‘best new product’ at the World Travel Industry Technology show in London.
